Hot Honey & Maple Glazed Ham

Sweet, sticky and a little spicy. A classic glazed ham with Jibba's Hot Honey, maple, orange and seeded mustard.

  • Oven or smoker 145°C
  • Cook 2–2½ hrs
  • Glaze every 20–30 min

Method

  1. Add all glaze ingredients to a small saucepan and stir to combine.
  2. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes, until the sugar has dissolved and the glaze has slightly thickened.
  3. Prepare the ham and place in an oven or smoker at 145°C.
  4. Brush generously with the glaze every 20–30 minutes during cooking.
  5. Continue cooking for approximately 2–2½ hours, glazing regularly.
  6. Give the ham a generous final coat for the last 10–15 minutes, until sticky, glossy and caramelised.
